    ‘Mother of God’ this is fast! I’ve been kindly loaned this wonderful 2018 BMW M5, with 600 bhp for a couple of weeks - what a thing. 0-60 in 3 seconds from a 4.4l twin turbo V8. This is the last proper M5 in my opinion, I can’t get onboard with the new one, even in touring format given its weight at 2.5 tons.     Another European road trip completed after Helga (S4) covered around 3,000 miles in just under 3 weeks. The #eurotunnel experience was pretty poor with 3 x security / check points at both sides. Well done Brexit ☹️. Some new stops this time including Hannover, which is actually quite stunning near the Urban Park and @listerturmbiergarten 👌🏽. Denmark, of course remains wonderful and a new lunch stop #hirtshals fish market. The route on the #autobahn is the best place to witness VW Passat’s at full throttle while flashing their lights 😂. Amsterdam is great fun with the family 🥞 and stunning architecture. Lastly to Normandy 🇫🇷 for the end of the Olympics + much wine and cheese. Europe is tremendous ✌️ #roadtrip #europe #audis4 ...     New favourite purchase #panameraturbo - having had New favourite purchase #panameraturbo - having had enough of carting around 🔧 and voltmeters the only other real contender was the previous gen M5 but the Panamera feels a lot more special to me. Similar performance but Porsche handling, brakes and steering feel = the winner. Plans include a drive to France and possibly Spa for the F1.
